Freedom and creativity play a large part in the 11 year old Kalinka’s life so it is no wonder that she has been one of the truly inspirational children for Tweedies Originals.
Kalinka lives in a rambling fifteen century mill set on the edge of the river Wylye, Wiltshire, amongst stunning native woodland. The mill has been an artist community since 1950’s. As well as being a creative hot spot for artists, it also hosts the Stone Soup Festival that champions young, gifted and merging musicians.
It is in this creative and explorative environment that Kalinka does what she loves doing; reading, writing stories and poetry. When she’s not reading or writing you can find her out with Flint, a 13.2 dappled grey New Forest pony, exploring the Wiltshire landscape.
