About your order
We ship to most destinations around the world with a range of options to suit. Please be aware that orders received after 15:00 (UK time) will be shipped the next working day.
The UK – Our standard ‘post and package’ charge is £4 and it can take between 3 to 5 days, and although our intentions are pure we can’t guarantee arrival within that time frame. If you require your order by a certain date we would recommend our ‘Next Day’ service at £6.50 (excluding Saturdays). These prices exclude VAT, which is not charged on our children’s caps, however all adults caps will incur VAT at 20%.
There are other options too, which we don’t automatically include, and if there is urgency we can arrange next day by 9am, or ‘Next Day Saturday’ by 9am or 5pm. Please contact us of you require these additional services and we will do our best to accommodate.
Europe costs £10 and delivery takes 3 to 5 days. 20% VAT applies to shipping costs for adult caps, but not for children’s.
Rest of the World – we are delighted that you have shown an interest in this little piece of Britishness, so if you do place an order we can send it by airmail at a cost of £10, which will take around 7 days, depending on your location in the world.
All shipping costs outside the EU are zero-rated for VAT.
If you are not completely happy with your purchase you may exchange your item or cancel your order.
Under the Distance Selling regulations you have the right to cancel your order within fourteen (14) days of receiving the goods. Please provide your full name, email address and invoice number when contacting us.
Please return the item/s to our return address below and we will refund you the full amount paid for the item/s within fourteen (14) days of receiving the returned goods, excluding any postage costs.
All items must be returned within fourteen (14) days of cancellation and must be in a new and unworn condition. Items returned that are not in this condition will be returned to the customer with no refund. Please note that the customer is responsible for all postage costs incurred when returning items. Exchanged items will be delivered to the customer free of charge.

In order that we receive the goods, we strongly advise that customers send the items signed for and tracked and retain their certificate of posting. Cedarberg Ltd. will not offer a refund on returned items which are lost or damaged in the post.
The adult caps incur a UK VAT charge of 20%, whereas children’s clothing and headwear is zero rated and therefore does not incur the 20% charge.
Site security and policies
When ordering your item/s on our site you will be asked to confirm your shopping bag contents by checking out. You will then be required to complete your personal and delivery details. On submission of this form you will be sent to Paypal to complete the payment process. Paypal is a secure payment gateway that we use to manage our online transactions. It is not essential that you have a Paypal account to complete your order. You can still submit your billing information in a secure, encrypted environment. As you know our caps are handmade and as a result if any of our caps do become unavailable you can still pre-order through the site. Expect delivery to take about 3 to 4 weeks from date of order.
Privacy & security
Tweedies Originals is a product of Cedarberg Ltd. We are web users ourselves and understand the need for privacy. Quite simply we do not sell or share your information with third parties, nor do we store your credit card information.
Processing your payments
Your payments will be handled by either Paypal or Stripe, depending on which gateway you decide during the checkout process. All payments are made through a secure and encrypted payment gateway. To ensure greater security, We share only the information necessary to execute the transaction with the financial intermediaries handling the transaction. Some of these services may also enable the sending of timed messages to You, such as emails containing invoices or notifications concerning the payment.
